1. Processing of Personal Data
We process the personal data necessary to ensure the continuous, secure, and reliable provision of our services. This personal data may fall into the following categories: staffing and contact data, browsing and device data, content data, metadata or ancillary data, usage data, location data, as well as sales, contract, and payment data.
The duration of personal data processing is determined either by the fulfillment of the intended purpose or by applicable legal requirements. Personal data that is no longer needed is either anonymised or deleted.
We particularly process information voluntarily and personally provided by the data subjects when they contact us—whether by postal mail, email, contact form, social media, or telephone. Such information may be stored, for example, in an address book or similar tools. If you provide us with personal data relating to third parties, you are responsible for ensuring the protection of their data and the accuracy of the information.
Personal data included in job application files is processed only to the extent necessary to assess suitability for an employment relationship or for the subsequent execution of an employment contract.
The personal information required to carry out the application process arises from the data requested or provided, in particular within the context of a job offer. Applicants may also voluntarily provide additional information as part of their application.
We may assign the processing of personal data to authorised third parties, process it jointly with third parties, or transfer it to such parties. These third parties include, in particular, service providers whose services we use. We are committed to ensuring adequate data protection for all such third parties.
These third parties are primarily located in Switzerland and in the European Economic Area (EEA). However, they may also be located in other countries, provided that their data protection legislation is deemed to offer an adequate level of protection according to the assessment of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). In other cases, adequate data protection may be ensured through appropriate contractual agreements—such as standard contractual clauses—or through suitable certification.
2. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure data security, particularly during processing.
Access to our website is secured through encrypted data transmission (SSL / TLS, specifically via the HTTPS protocol), which is generally indicated by a padlock symbol in the address bar of most browsers.
3. Information About Cookies
We may use cookies on our website. Cookies—whether our own (first-party cookies) or those of third parties used through our services (third-party cookies)—are data stored in your browser. Please note that they cannot run programs or transmit malware.
When you visit our website, cookies may be temporarily stored in your browser as “session cookies” or retained for a certain period as permanent cookies.
You may disable or delete cookies, in whole or in part, at any time through your browser settings. We actively request your explicit consent to the use of cookies whenever required.
A list of all cookies used, including their duration and description, can be viewed at any time by clicking the floating cookie icon at the bottom left of your screen. You may also adjust your consent preferences through this window.
4. Performance and Reach Measurement
We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and to assess both its reach and the performance of third-party links pointing to our site. This service is provided by the American company Google LLC. However, for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, responsibility lies with Google Ireland Limited.
In addition, Google attempts to track individual visitors across different browsers or devices. This is known as cross-device tracking and relies on the use of cookies. It is important to note that the use of Google Analytics requires users’ IP (Internet Protocol) addresses, although Google generally does not combine these with other data.
In all cases, Google anonymises your IP address before conducting the analysis. As a result, your full IP address is typically not transmitted to Google in the United States.
For more information on the nature, scope, and purpose of data processing, you can consult Google’s Data Protection and Security Principles as well as Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Services
We work with third-party services to ensure that our solution is provided in a sustainable, secure, and reliable manner.
These services are also used to integrate various types of content into our website. Such service providers—such as hosting, storage, video, and payment services—may require the use of your IP address in order to deliver the necessary content. Some of these services may be located outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA), but we ensure that they offer an adequate level of data protection.
